Kodak Melbourne Memories - Trish Lobb, 1964-1992

This 3:17 minute digital story tells the story of Trish Lobb and her time working for Kodak Australasia.

Trish joined the company working on the camera assembly line and doing electrical modifications in the Cameras, Reels and Sundries Department at Coburg, soon after it opened. After a year of this work she changed to office work for this Department, where she stayed for another 21 years.

Following this, Trish became an executive secretary working in Roll Films Finishing Department in Building 4 and then in the Emulsion Coating Department in Building 3 at Coburg. She worked at Kodak Australasia for 28 years, between 1964 and 1992.

Trish Lobb was interviewed as part of the Kodak oral history project. This digital story is an edited extract from the original 1 hour 15 minute oral history interview.

The images shown are part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, after the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
