Copy of annotated plans for a W-class tram. Annotations indicate possible ways of adapting the tram to suit the theatrical purposes of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony. This drawing was the original source material for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony organisers, about the dimensions and components of a W Class tram. From this simple plan, the organisers began to construct models, which were used to illustrate plans to have a flying tram feature as part of the Opening Ceremony.
