Summary
Copy of a medal of Lucrezia Borgia. The original medal, by an unknown Mantuan artist, is believed to be associated with her marriage in 1502. This uniface electrotype copy was made circa 1881 Robert Ready. This electrotype may be derived from the reverse of the British Museum piece G3,FerrM.56, from the collection of George III although the National Gallery of Art, Washington holds a uniface example (Kress.79)
