Copy of a medal depicting Cardinal Pietro Bembo. The original medal by Tammaso d'Antonio Perugino (called il Fagiuolo) in Rome about 1539. This uniface electrotype copy was made circa 1881 at British Museum by Robert Ready (from BMC Reg. G3,IP.143). This uniface electrotype copy was made circa 1881 at British Museum by Robert Ready from a uniface lead cast from the collection of George III held by that museum (Reg: G3,IP.143). The electrotype is copper plated and toned.
