Summary
Copy of the obverse (uniface) of a medal of Niccolò III d'Este (1383-1441), Marquess of Ferrara. The original medal was by Amadio da Milano in about 1420. This Electrotype copy of the obverse was made circa 1881 by Robert Ready. This electrotype may be from the piece in the collection of George III, now British Museum Reg: G3,FerrM.21.
