Copy of a medal of King Louis XII of France. The original medal was by an unknown Italian artist and bears the unusual date formula: MD13. This two piece electrotype copy was made circa 1881 at British Museum by Robert Ready from a lead cast held by that museum (from the collection of George III, Reg. G3,FrM.18).
