Summary
Copy of a medal of Luigi d'Este, Cardinal; Bishop of Ferrare, Archbishop of d'Auch. The original medal by Pastorino of Siena, was cast in about 1554. This uniface electrotype copy was made circa 1881 by Robert Ready. This uniface electrotype copy was made circa 1881 at British Museum by Robert Ready from a lead cast from the collection of George III held by that museum (Reg: G3,FerrM.85). The electrotype is copper plated and toned.
