Summary
Dr Griffith, medical officer of the 13th Light Horse, photographed in France, circa 1917, World War I.
The caption is in the hand-writing of Dudley Arthur Langford Townley's son. Townley was transferred to the 13th Light Horse in June 1916 and embarked for France soon afterwards. The 13th and the 4th Light Horse Regiments were the only two Light Horse to fight on the Western Front, where this photo was probably taken.
