Small sepia photograph of a very young Dudley Townley (seated) and Laurie Cadell in Egypt, 1915, during World War I. Dudley Townley was in Egypt with the 5th and 2nd Light Horse. He was transferred to the 13th Light Horse in 1916 and fought on the Western Front at the Somme and Flanders in France and Belgium.
