Physical Description
Lilac handpainted scarf with RAAF Sunderland and badge. In centre of scarf emblem of The Royal Australian Air Force with eagle and crown and banner underneath PER ARDUA AD ASTRA. In top left corner there is an outline of southern Britain with Pembroke Dock marked. Bottom right hand corner has sketch of an aeroplane with No. 461 SQUADRON / R.A.A.F. / UNITED KINGDOM. Alternate corners have painted black and red ribbon bows and trailing ends.
