Cardboard box made by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd, Melbourne, Australia. The box originally contained part of a collection of 55 photographic lantern slides, glass negatives and acetate negatives of travel images taken in the Pacific Islands, probably in the late 1930s.

The box is labelled 'Department of Dental Science, University of Melbourne' and 'Mr Wm C Knight'. William C. Knight was elected president of the Victorian branch of the Australian Dental Association in 1942, and became its honorary treasurer in 1948. His association with the slides is unknown.
