Scrapbook that was compiled by Kodak Australasia. It contains approximately 104 archival items produced in 1969-1972 .

The contents include advertising newspaper proofs prepared for Kodak products by Berry Currie Advertising Pty Ltd. The products and subjects include Instamatic film cameras (model numbers: 25, 33, 133, 233, 314, 333, Reflex, Pocket and Tele-Instamatic), Retina film cameras (model numbers: S1 and S2), movie cameras (model numbers: M12, M22, M24, M28, XL33, XL55 and Ektasound), audio cassettes, film, slides, prints, colour developing equipment, greeting cards and various themed exhibitons at Kodak Gallery (252 Collins St Melbourne). The proofs relate to specific themes such as Christmas, Easter, Moomba festival, the 1972 V.F.L. Grand Final and other general promotions. For example, 'Christmas gifts / that really 'click'...' The promotional materials range in size from 382 x 254 mm to 218 x 89 mm.

The leaflets relate to variety of documentaries, artist exhibitions, competitions and demonstrations featured at the Kodak Gallery, located downstairs at 252 Collins St, Melbourne. The titles and subjects for the Kodak Gallery exhibitions featured were: 'The Conquest of Mt. Everest', 'Photography in the Modern Army', 'People, Places and Life of Australia', 'Apollo 9 - Spider and Gumdrop. A Space Duet', 'Snow Exhibition', the Victorian Photographic Societies annual inter-competition, 'The Faces of S.E. Asia' by John Cockroft, 'Singapore and Beyond' by Bruce Hamilton and 'The Other Half' by John Williams.

Melbourne Herald, Melbourne Sun, Melbourne Age, Melbourne Observer. Also listed are designations for National Press, Ethics Press and Photo Pages.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.

This scrapbook is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
